Does anyone have any experience selling vehicles on ebay, etc? I am slowly coming to the realization that I will probably not be able to get back to Arizona to complete all of my projects there and it probably isn't realistic to try and move them all out here. I am thinking about selling most of the cars I have stored there, but I'm in Georgia now and not sure how I could make it work. I sold a '64 Valiant to Geoff Pine in Australia years ago, but I was still close enough to do the logistics myself then. (That project is going well for Geoff, by the way!) Any ideas, suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I've got about 10 vehicles to sell. Thanks,
Rob

Out of curiosity, what vehicles are you thinking of selling?

Cheers,

Lou

Hey Lou,
Let's see,... I'll just list everything that's down there.

'56 Dodge 1/2 ton long bed with later 318/auto
'64 Valiant convertible (very rough) slant 6/pushbutton auto
'64 Barracuda w/360/auto from a '75 Cordoba
'65 Barracuda w/360/4 speed/8 3/4 & Predator carb through the hood
'65 Valiant post w/318/auto from a '78 New Yorker
'67 Dart GT (my first car w/ 273/904) Big block wanna be
'75 Mustang II w/302/auto
'76 Pontiac Astre wagon (like a Vega) maybe a drag car project

Big plans, four kids, 5 moves, etc, etc. I would love to hang on to them all and fix 'em all up, but it aint gonna happen. The two that are hardest to sell are the '67 and the '65 Barracuda. All the rest could easily find a better home than sitting for years waiting for me to get around to them.

I suggest that you also list them individually in the Vehicle Buy/Sell forum.

I know it's a lot but you may want to give the details on each, and especially the prices. Looks like a great bunch of cars. Are they all Arizona cars? No Rust? I'd personally like some more details on the 65 Valiant post.

Rick

PS. I know every person who has sold his first car almost always regrets it. You may want to try and hold on to your Dart. I too have survived 4 kids, the home...etc and have held on to my first car. It's been off the road for almost 18 years. But now my sons and I are planning to bring it home and get it going again. I'm glad I still have.

PSS. The old Valiant carried my wife of 23 years and I from the church on our wedding day!!! Get rid of that car?? What was I thinking!!

I will try to find some time to list the vehicles individually later today. They are all pretty much rust free except for the convertible. I'm sure I will hold on to the '67 Dart. "The Beast" is the car that started it all. Then I discovered the narrow bodies and really liked the styling, so it got set aside. Thanks for the reply.
