Well, I'm just about ready to re-hang the front sheetmetal on my 64 Dart right after I black-out the radiator support. Based on the responce to my previous post, I have put together this image to illustrate. I think that version 2 is correct. Because I spent SO MANY hours stripping and re-painting the engine bay, I want to make sure I get this right. I suspect that the black-out termination will be the same for 63 - 66 Darts. Specifically, I'm curios about the lower portion or 'aprin' of the rad support. Thanks -shane

I believe front side of #1 and rear shot of #2 is right. I think the factory used a template that was just held up from the rear. It was a crude black out. The color paint must not have even been scuffed because some of the original black flakes off over time. The factory was concerned of only body color showing thru the grille.
You car is looking great!

Cecil and Kestab - thanks for the input, I think I've got it now. Good comment about the flaking paint, I'll be sure to knock down the area to be painted woth some 400 wet. I suspect I'll do tighter masking job than the factory, which is ok, just wanted to get the paint in the correct location. thanks agian, -shane
