Count me in on that one Wayne. I'd even be in for uping the ante...with your all's approval of course.

My condolences Andrew. Total bummer. Would you mind sharing what you think went wrong?

Congrats to Randy for the win and to Marc for the runner up. I guess we can't call Marc the 12 second kid anymore. Nicely done to both of you.

See you all in Redding in May. 8)

Just wanted to say "THANKS" again for a great turn out. It was fun meeting old and new friends. I was glad to run my car again after a 4 year lay-off,,,, the bug has bit hard this time. The car ran great but the driver was rusty. I hope all had as much fun as I.....

Hey folks,

Sounds like a great time. Congrats to Randy on the win, and to Guzzi Mark for the 11 sec pass in Vegas air! Doc's 12.80 passes are also quite stout.

What was the car count again?

Cheers to all,

Lou

Yes... another fun year racing Slant Sixes at MATS.
Allen, Randy Jones and I all made it home safe. We left Vegas at 4 AM Monday, along with "the Kidd"... so 3 early cars all together with one being flat towed by our 66 Dart station wagon... a nice little highway parade! :D

I want to thank all the racers and friends that "hung-out" with us during the weekend... some fun company this year, for sure!

I have to get all the photos up-loaded but here is a shot of Guzzi Mark and Randy J. getting ready to run the final red... I mean, race. (sorry Mark  )

Lou, The Vegas air was great this year 28.23 bar. Gave a DA around 2,000 or so feet. Much better than the usual 48-5,800 that is more likely. The wind died to almost nothing on Sunday so we didn't have to fight a 20+ mph head wind either.

Doc?!?!?! I though that photo (the one with Andrew and I) was suppose to "stay in Vegas"..... I mean really.... can't trust even your own dad these days!  :P

Anyway @wayne, if you think Rhonda taking out Sergio was cool ask Guzzi Mark (aka: madmax/6) about the package he used to beat Doc.

Can you say a 0.000 prefect light and an ET of 11.97 on a 11.96! OMG!!!!!!

Allen

I didnt think it was so cool. Actually Rhonda did a good job and i was sleeping ,at least most people thought Glen was driving so he is getting static from his racing buddies. Marc s car is very impressive, I thought Romeo and John Terry would go to the finals based on the ladder and their reaction times, but thats why they run them. Great to spend time with the group and slantzilla. Congrats to Randy ,Marc and everyone that won any rounds, see you at Redding.

After talking to Doug for the past four years about having a /6 car & bringing it one of these days I finally made it this last weekend. Had a great time, probably spent the most time on the track with 5 runs (5 x 20.+), got to watch Mark's tree count down in my mirror & then watch him blast by me at the line. Enjoyed it all. Got some info from Randy on the super 6 install & linkage, picked up my blueprinted oil pump from Doug, got my crankscraper from Mark, talked body & paint with Terry, and had a first round loser "drink" with Romeo. Missed the Friday, Saturday & Sunday dinner get togethers but will try and remedy that next year. Thanks to all for a great time.

Hope to have something done to the car by Redding. Depending on funds I am looking forward to trying to make the 6 California races this year. Funds, sounds like a /6 racer.
