Was thinking of giving the van a bit more towing power.. I am not out to race just give it a bit more umph to pull the Challenger with..

Anyone do a stock motor with a 1v carb or should I look into a 2v?

If you turbo the motor i would assume you'd need a 2bbl i read somewhere on the site a guys turbo setup with a 1bbl was having trouble supplying enough fuel to the motor under boost. I havn't done much with 1bbls or 2bbls so i may not be much help but i do have a turbo motor what kinda info are you looking for the post wa sa bit unclear. The motor would be setup for towing so your gonna want the turbo coming in at low rpm for low end grunt would be my first guess.

I made my mine as did everyone else with a turbo or had it made at least. You could either make a header or have one made but a pretty easy way looks like to use a stock manifold since they are already 6into1 weld the flange right to that and bolt your turbo to it or add some pipe from the manifold to the turbo where ever you wanted to mount it with the correct flange for your turbo welded to the end of the exhaust piping.I would think using the stock manifold and making it work would be the easiest but i didn't think the header was to hard to build just took some trial and error. :)

I also have an A100 and space is limited under the doghouse. I recently watched an episode of Horsepower TV (i think that was the one), where they had added a twin turbo setup on a late model Corvette. The Turbos were actually at the rear of the vehicle, with the boosted air traveling all the way forward to the engine. I'm not saying that's what needs to be done on the A100, but i've crawled under mine a few times and there should be plenty of space to add a turbo somewhere under the van. And then, of course, bring up the boosted air to the intake. I bet there might even be enough room for an intercooler down there. just a thought.
