Electronic ignition as in mopar based or as in aftermarket, as in an msd like box?

There are no more Mopar Performance "Kits" being produced for a /6 anymore, but you can buy all the parts seperately. All you need is the magnetic pickup distributor, module, and harness. The distributor and module you can get either from a jy or the local auto parts stores carry them. The harness can be made by hand or cut up a jy one. The diagrams are availible from the "Articles" link from www.slantsix.org

If going the msd route, you need a msd box. You can use a points style distributor or magnetic pickup distributor with the msd box, but I'd still recomend going with the magnetic pickup. The msd box comes with some generic one size fits all wiring, so depending on where you mount it, you'll likely need to run your own wires.

The Pertronics is a good option. Costs about $80 and installs in the dist. with no external box and only 2 wires to hook up!
