Congrats, PJ! Dennis will have to get the Piggie to the track to see about besting that one...

BTW, to everyone, some of us have been contemplating changing the points racing rules to give folks somewhere between 1 and 5 points for setting a record at a Slant 6 event. This would give "number chasers" a bonus for taking the Slant 6 to new levels.

Was the new record sent in to Seymour? Just wanted to make sure it is an "official record" before I update the list and take Dennis's Record off. Congratulations on the record and very fast times! It's awesome having good competition in that weight class. Makes me wonder what I need to do to get my car that fast......

I also got the C gas record now,I ran a 11.921 at 109.604.I sent my time slips to Seymourto make it official.Guzzi Mark

Now all that remains is to create an all out classification that allows for lighter cars. The bottom being 2000#. Franks FED, and my RED won't weigh near that. I'd bet Frank will have to eat six or seven pies for breakfast to get his car up to 1500# :lol:

Seymour sent me the updated official Slant 6 records. Looks like PJ Jesiolowski took the ET record for D/Gas, and Mark now holds the A,B,C Gas records. The C/Gas record had stood for over 6 years prior. Congratulations to Mark and PJ on the new records. It's great having so many new records being set.

For a unlimited record dont you need to turbo,supercharge it or spray it?Curious cause the b unlimited is open.Guzzi Mark

Unlimited requires a blower or turbo, or some other power adder besides nitrous. NA motors are in the Gas or Alcohol records. Yes, my D/U records are really soft, and will not stand long...

Congrats to Mark and PJ!

Looks like D/G could be hotly contested in the coming year - great!
