Wasn't there a ARP cam bolt that some folks were using with the cam stops in the timing cover? I can't seem to locate it with the search function. If you know what I am looking for and have a Part number I'd appreciate it!

If you are on the cheap for a stop, I just pick a couple of dead/loose/cracked stock rockers and pull the adjuster bolt out of them and get a nut at the local hardware store and weld it...so far I have not lost one yet (10 years on one stop and 5 years on the other). I also grind flat the stock cam bolt head and initially coat with moly assembly lube.

Just get a Grade 8 bolt and grind the head flat. The stop just needs a flat surface to bear against.

Yep, That's what I was thinking about Greg!

That is what I have done with the last 2 I did also, but since I am going with the tray, the scraper, Doug's pump, ...etc. I thought I might as well go all out and get the super special bolt!

Thanks,

Rick
