Here's the link to an old slant six land speed racer that's currently for sale on the landracing web site. Some of you might find it of interest.

As the ad says, it set its class record back in the 1960's at a speed just under 150 mph. The owner says it ran only the 170 motor, though he also has a 225 that goes with the car. The 170 was bored .100" over for 180 ci total. Modified stock intake ran AFB carb, mildly ported head, 1 5/8" pipes with no collector. Made 205 HP at 6,200 rpm.

Cool, plus I noticed that the trailer looks a lot like Seymour's old one that Ryan has! :lol: :lol:
