NOT GOING TO HAVE MUCH TIME FOR FINE TUNING BEFORE THE FIRST RACE SO I WILL KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT NOTHING FAILS ME.

I'm here but working way to much at that "day job".
Any extra time is going towards swapping parts off the crashed race car and onto a new chassis.
At the current rate of progress, I will have nothing fast to drive until the fall.

I have to get the GodsRods Duster engine back together and put back in and tuned and tested.

I'm dropping off the Turismo to the chassis builder (Joel's Hot Rod Shop) on Saturday.

My Dart should have been on the road a long time ago. The latest problem is that I have A body axles in a B body housing (I think), so I have to pull it back out and get the housing shortened to fit the axles.

Oh yeah, and I have to do just a couple other small things ( ) to get the house ready to rent and be ready to move the family to Germany in 46 days.

Let's see, I have about 50 days of leave saved up, so if I could just take the next 46 days off from this silly day job called the Army I just might get it all done.....

Nah! I'll just keep pluggin' away and pray for a miracle! :D

I took the Son of Slantzilla out for the first drive tonight. I will probably put the final tuneup on Sunday. Next step is plumbing in the NAWS. 100 shot=12:50's.

You're pretty tough picking on street cars with your "race" car there pal.

That heap of yours has been what, 12:80? Lots of ground to make up there.

Well, I've concluded the Holley I've got is not going to either be particularly streetable or give adequate performance. I don't think I can race it on the setup I've got... so soon I'll be ordering a Megasquirt and see hit the strip (and some other racing events) with a fuelie Dart!
