I went to the Rock, and it was a pretty good show. I didn't enter my car, so the only slant there to represent us was Barry's SixPack, running mid 7's. I got to meet him for the first time and he told me there used to be a slant class but no longer.
What happened?
BTW, there were some very impressive runs by new stuff, including a dead stock Magnum RT (complete with window stickers) running a 13.9 quarter and a big Cummins 6-speed 4x4 running mid 13's. The fastest car there was a little 65 Barracuda with a 440 and wheel tubs that came up through the rear window. It made some pretty wicked launches on it's way to low 5's in the 8th.
