Possum? Is that a Ford? Oh, no....that's a Probe...

Hey, Chuck...any chance we could get a drum roll / cymbal clash sound effect to go with the smilies?

Drifting back to the original topic: I vote with the above-stated sentiment and stick with the local independents when possible. I can't count the number of times they've looked up obscure parts and specialty tools for me when the chains were clueless...not to mention having a machine shop in house.

I'll take an old coot who knows what he's talking about behind the counter any day over a pimply-faced kid who can't wait to get off work so he can watch his "The Fast and the Furious" tape one more time. No offense intended to any pimply-faced kids who drive slants and frequent this board: you guys rock.

I think he was lured by the autozone commercials. Lets see, was it the one with the Cobra replica or the bouncing S10 with flashy chrome.

Then maybe he stopped at MOPAR. Anybody with a HEMI powered Dodge Ram and HEMI powered slingshot with a rube driving it, cann't be all bad.

Geez,

I didn't mean to get you guys all riled up or anything, I was just trying to figure out if there was a difference in quality.

I suppose it is more along the lines of what are you buying and from whom.

Thanks.

James.
