| Post subject: | Yeah.... sucks |
There used to be a chain arround here called Al's Automotive supply, they were so awesome! cheap prices, great service, and sharps guys working there... once I went in to get a bypass hose for my supersix, the guy refused to let me pay for it... sometime later I went in to get calipers for the same car.. they had 2 sales going, a core charge sale and a Caliper sale, I end up getting a set of calipers for less than $30. Well a few years back another chain bought them out Schucks, so all the stores became schucks, they fired all the smart, hard workers and now there are brainless morons working there. I called to get a choke pull off for my car, the guy kept telling me its part of the choke, and I need to order the choke it comes with it. I told him fine, I will order it, but when it comes back with no pull off. Someone is going to be in a heap.... |

Shucks is the S in CSK, which is a nation wide chain. Al's was great, they kept Shucks honest. The store at 19th and Broadway was great, Gary, the manager, was friendly and knowledgeable. If they didn't have the part, they would find it for you. It is pretty sad when most of the autopart stores sell the same thing, for the same prices, that the only thing distinct is the commercials... |
