Hey everyone!

I'm a convert from the For A Bodies only site and I think i'll be able to learn some good stuff here.
Let me start by introducing you to my project.

A 1974 Plymouth Valiant Brougham 4-door.

I was given this car by some freind's of mine that decided to buy a car a 97 Chevy blazer (crap). They told me that the car had a busted radiator and a bad tranny. I later found out that the radiator had been patched with duct tape over a golf ball sized hole and they had put motor oil in the tranny.

With all this in mind I pulled out the interior and am now working on an Idea I had to toss a Blow thru intercooled turbo-charger system into her.

I have a lot of work ahead of me but I hope I can do it.
Thanks for looking!

Welcome to the Forum! There are several good Mopar websites (FABO included), but for serious Slant 6 specific stuff THIS IS THE PLACE!

well after reading the rules for this area of the website I realized i'm supposed to be keeping tabs on my car's progress.

So i'll do that.

I'm probably not going to be able to work to much on it these next few months on account of I'm graduating from college in May and getting married in June.

BUT!

I have managed to pull out most of the interior (not the dash just yet) and remove the busted up old radiator. I found a break in the A/C compressor line and pulled most of the A/C system out. The break in the line helped me, since I don't need someone who's certified to bleed the system to come out to my house.

I'll take some pictures soon, but work has been put on hold due too my need to clean up my workshop. there's no room for me to work at all, so the next couple of days will be dedicated to that. But I plan on stopping by Autozone or Checker tomorrow and picking up an engine stand. I read on here that the stands with the "T" base are no good for the length of the block on my 225 and have a tendancy to tip over so i'll look for a better one.

On the plus side, I found an old stove pipe in the wall of my workshop which will allow me to plunk a wood stove in there to keep me warm during these cold ass winter months.

we'll see how things turn out, take it easy.
