Here are pics of my 63 330 four door. 225 with a 3spd manual. Just pulled the head to inspect the cylinders and couldn't believe how clean it was inside. Also you can see I had a "minor" exhaust leak. Well, now I have a candidate for the back half of a Dutra dual set-up in the future. Hope you all like. Lot's of work to go.

Nice car! Looks clean and straight. No ridge at all at the tops of the cylinders once the carbon was cleaned out?

I haven't cleaned anyhting out of the cylinders yet. How you see them is exactly how they looked when I pulled the head. The little bit of stuff in the cylinders, is stuff that fell in when I took the head off. It had a steel gasket on it and I don't know if that was original. everything came off pretty easy, so I don't know if it was rebuilt recently or not.

Love those cars, my buddy has a '63 330 wagon with my old Poly in it. That one looks in great shape, keep us posted on progress.

The rear quarters need to be replaced due to rust. I think it was hit in the right rear, as there is a lot of Bondo on that side. Those will be replaced probably next year. I'm also still working on repairing rust around the rear window. The front half of the car is good except for a little rust on the front passenger door. I'm going to shave the door handles. I already have the door poppers. It will be a nice Custom cruiser with a little pop to it. I'm going to lower it just a bit for attitude. Thanks for the comments. I do like the looks of the front end on this car.

That is sooo cool that you're building up your 330 with the 225  ! I have almost the same car but with a push button a904 in it. Can't wait to see more updates on your car.

The only problem is, I broke the rear window trying to remove it. I can buy a new one for about $600 plus tax, but that is way too rich for my blood. If anyone out there has a spare they don't need in the No Calif area, I would be grateful if I could get a deal on it. If not, thanks anyway.
