Post subject: Need Dart Wagon help!
PostPosted: Sat Dec 08, 2001 10:15 pm
Hi, I purchased a 1965 Dodge Dart Station Wagon from my neighbor. He was moving so he didn't want to take it with him. I got it running, but it runs a little rough. Also, I cannot find any parts for a Dart Wagon. Anyone know where i can find some? i needs stuff for it like some armrest pads, carpet, window crank for the back, and some other misc. parts. Also, it leaks when it rains and I suspect it coming from the cowl and draining throught the vent boxes below. Anyone know how to fix this? it's getting annoying. Visit my photo album for some pictures of it and some of my other mopars i have. thanks for any help.

Larry,

Many of the parts you are talking about can be found on 4door and sedan modle cars. Some items are unique such as the rear window crank assembly and some of the interior trim plastic parts.

Check the windshield seal to make sure the leak is not due to rusted out area under the seal or between the seal and the body.

Where are you located?

Larry,

I am also in the Bay Area and live in Benicia.
I looked at your pictures and the outside rear window cranking mechanism seems to be there. What problems are you experiencing with the rear window and specifically what parts do you need? Are you looking for the mechanism inside the tailgate?

If you want to call me on Wednesday at home, email me and I'll give you my phone number. My email address is Devinvaldart@aol.com.

it's all there, and works fine. except the knob for the crank is missing which makes it a 10 minute job to crank down the window. I think i can just make a handle just have to figure out how. Do you have wagon parts? i also need a new back seat, front seat, and the panels in the cargo bay. mine got cut for speakers.
