I feel unexperienced. I was wondering, with my timing, do I set it at idle, or do I need to hold it at a certain RPM? Also, is it possible that the slant six in my car had a smog system on it in the past? If so, it is all gone now. Does anyone have a vaccum/conversion diagram handy? Also, Dutra duals seem to be popular, what are they, and where do you find them? Thanks folks!!

set base timing at hot idle. some say to disconnect the vacuum line from the distributor but there shouldn't be any vacuum since it should be connected to a ported source at the carburetor that opens at part throttle.
