Two things..
When going from 9" to 10" brakes, can I keep the same master cylinder or do i need a bigger one for more volume?

Also the front spindles, between the 9" and 10" brakes, are they the same?

You can keep the same MC, although you might want to add an aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve to get the front/rear bias right again.

The spindles are not the same, from all I've heard...

Sorry, spindles and wheel bearing sizes are not the same between the 9 and 10 inch drum brakes. :(

I may as well leave the front 9" as is then and just change the back along the axle. Then when I figure out what I'm going to do with disc brakes I'll swap front spindles so I don't have to take apart the front end twice. Unless the 10" drum spindles are the same as the disc brake spindles. but somehow I doubt that I'd be that lucky either :(

Yep, just wait and go to discs up front. They are the best setup. I don't know about spindles between 10" and discs, but I think they are different too.
