What are you failing on? Hydrocarbons, CO, or NOx & SOx?

If you havent already, change the oil, and do a minor tune-up (plugs, wires, fuel & air filters, cap & rotor). If you still cant pass, here is what i have had to do in the past:

If it's HC's or CO, let the tank get down to about 1/4 full, and put in 3 or 4 bottles of Iso-Heet (Isoprophyl Alcohol) That should lean out your mixture enough to get past the sniffer. After the test go fill up to avoid running too lean for an extended period.

If you are failing on nitrates or sulfates, the Iso-Heet will help a little, but not much. Failing these usually means bad cat(s) or you could have some "bad" gas.
