Alright guys, here's one for ya. Here's my situation.....I have noting but bad luck with gas tanks. I have a 65 Barracuda. That's the first problem....Try to find the proper filler neck grommet. I found one eventually but they always seem to leak. LOTS! I've checked the filler neck for roundness and cleaned it meticullasly. I've also checked the tank to see that it is straight. Yes, I have the right gasket. I bought the wrong one the first time. So here's where I'm at....I'm going to get an aluminum fuel cell. A twenty gallon deal that has all the proper hook ups for my fuel injetion. Now the catch None of the cells these days with the foam inside come with a chrysler sender So my chioce is a Generic Motors sender. I talked with a rep at Summit Racing to see if anyone else has dealt with this problem. He had no answer except to buy a new gauge. I'd like to stick with my stock gauge as I'm out of dash space from all the other gauges. Please help!

If can, buy one with a Ford sender. They have the same ohm range as chyrsler.

Where did you get your tank gromet from?

You can get the filler neck grommets from Laysons. I got two a few months back for a 63 Valiant. Need a gas cap for same.
