Anyone have any thoughts on how much work it'd be to have the vinyl top replaced on the Dart? It's trashed and there's a little rust (fortunately only surface rust) undeneath, so I would expect it to cost a decent amount of money, especially if it got a new paint job at the same time...

The last time I priced one, I was quoted $350. This was on a full-size Dodge, so you might get by with a little less.

I would suggest not replacing it, depending on the year I think it looks better without personally. Their are exceptions though, I have a 73, generally that year looks better without, but some years look like they have smaller pillars and different back windows(or maybe I'm just seeing things ). Either way, it might be a good time to look at your vehickle without the vynal and ask yourself, does it look better without, or with it on, because ultimately, only your decision matters(though one choice saves you a lot of cash).
